Cookie Policy

Strictly necessary storage
SomethingTools does not set its own cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for two functional items, which never leave your device:
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
st:consent:v1 | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies. | Until you clear it |
st:currency-rates:v1 | Caches the latest exchange-rate table for the currency converter. | Refreshed after 6 hours |
Optional cookies
These are only loaded if they are enabled on the site and you select "Accept":
- Google Analytics (
_ga,_ga_*) — measures visits and tool usage. Up to 2 years. - Google AdSense (for example
__gads,__gpi, and cookies on Google domains) — serves and measures ads. Up to 13 months.
If you select "Reject optional cookies", no analytics or advertising scripts are loaded and all tools keep working normally.
Changing your choice
Use "Cookie settings" in the footer to show the banner again, or clear this site's data in your browser settings. See the Privacy Policy for more on how data is handled.
